On Sunday, we gave you, our sweet daughter and cherished blessing, back to Jesus through Baptism, marking you as his beloved child. We pray, our little girl, that you will always know his love, that you will follow his ways, that you will seek his truth, and that you will always know that you are loved just as you are. As Ben baptized you, you looked right into his eyes with wonder and excitement. You were so intrigued by the water he used that you grabbed the cup, hoping you would have the chance to dip your face into it! We love the way you are so curious, even at 6 months, and so excited about life - during the whole service you made yourself known by shrieking loudly - so much so that Ben remarked that you would be preaching soon! You wore a 100 year old dress handed down through the Folberth family and it was a perfect way to commemorate a long standing tradition of believing and following Christ.
We love you Kayla Rose, and we pray that you will always be enveloped and protected in God's gracious love. You have an amazing family - family and friends - who will lead you and guide you as you begin this walk of faith. We are here to guide you, protect you and show you God's truth all the days of your life.
What a special day! Conrad and I were thrilled to be a part of Kayla's Baptism ! We love her so much, and she will always hold a special place in our hearts. We are excited to watch her grow in her faith, for she is so loved by family and friends! We will remember this day forever ! <3
