Here are a few photos of his first game - Tyler is on the A's!
Warming Up with a few jumping jacks
Bucket Line - all the boys bring their own buckets to sit on in the lineup - the buckets have their name and number on them so they can determine the right order. Tyler is #11 - Andrew's lacrosse number!
Ready to bat!
"I think I know the catcher..." Tyler was more focused on the catcher than the pitcher while at bat! The boys get 5 pitches and if they can't hit them, they bat off the tee. Ty is about 50/50 batting and is getting better as long as he keeps his eye on the ball!
On second base and wondering what is next
And he is off...running is his favorite part! On his way back to home base he ran straight to his bucket and not to home plate! Oh well - good thing they aren't keeping score!
Tyler got to play pitcher his first inning, which was cool cause that was my position in softball. He loved wearing the gear and it was good he had it on cause he had no idea what to do and the ball just kept hitting him in the chest!
Outfield - if there isn't any action, make your own fun by throwing your mit into the air and catching it! I guess this is better than laying down and picking grass! It made us laugh!
Big Brother is awesome!
