Kayla is 7 Months Old!

Our little girl is growing up and getting so big!  Kayla turned 7 months on her aunt Rara's 30th birthday on Friday.  She continues to amaze us with her giggly personality, her toothy smile, her love for everyone around her and her desire to constantly have someone loving on her!  Kayla, you are a true joy to us!  You are starting to practice your sounds and you and I talk all the time - our conversation consists of me saying Ba ba to you and you saying it back in a very thoughtful way.  You love to be tickled, touched and rubbed with lotion!  We get a big kick out of your screams of joy - you and Wyatt are often contesting for who is the loudest screamer!  You still hate your stomach and you refuse to roll over - you just scream until one of us comes and picks you up!

Today, on mother's day, I loved dressing you up!  As your daddy said, that is the best present for me, to get to dress up my little girl, and he is right!  I love the way you laugh when I smile at you.  I love the way you giggle at your brother saying T-shirt and running towards you.  I love your screams of delight at 5am that wake me every day.  I love your sweet little loving hands when they play with my necklace or grab my hair and won't let go.  You are our beloved blessing, our little princess and we are over the moon in love with you!!  

Happy 7 month birthday, our little one.  You are growing up way to fast.  I wish I could push pause and hold onto you at this sweet age.  I wish I could capture how wonderful and innocent you are, only to come back to it in years to come when you are big and out of my reach.  All I can do is store up these precious moments in my heart and hope that they will be enough for me to remember you right in this moment, just as you are.  You are perfect and there is nothing you could ever do that will make me stop loving you.
