Today was a great and very fun day! We had Wyatt's fourth birthday party, an airplane party, and it was very successful and fun!
I created boarding passes as the invitations and then when kids arrived, we had the gate sign on the door with luggage and balloons tied to the luggage. Inside, we had white and blue balloons, thanks to Aunt Rara, for the sky and the table was covered with airplanes and the airplane cake I made.
Wyatt had 6 friends come, 4 boys and 2 girls, all from his class (this is the first year that he has not had Tyler's friends in attendance - which, while we missed them being here, was a good thing for Wyatt creating his own friends and his own relationships).
For games, we had airplane throwing and the kids had a great time doing loops and seeing how far/high they could throw their planes. Then we used our ride-on plane that Rara gave Ty at age 2 (yes, it still works) and Andrew made an obstacle course. He made two run ways - one in California for take-off and one in Hawaii for landing. In the middle, he had cones, he drew water and boats, and the kids had lots of twists and turns. They all had a ball going around and also taking out the cones! Our last game was musical chairs, which all of the kids did really well - the only sore loser was Tyler who cried when he was out!

Lunch included turkey sandos, goldfish and grapes and then we topped it all off with chocolate birthday cake! The cake is flying through the clouds...
Wyatt had a ball and it was so much fun to see him with his own friends.
And a great time was had by all, even mom and dad!
