Pre-Halloween FUN

The kids are at an age where Halloween is really a lot of fun!  This last week has been packed with parties too.  We had a halloween party at our house where we carved pumpkins, bobbed for apples and had a donut eating contest on strings.  We had a bunch of friends and I think all of the kids and adults had a great time being together!

Tyler trying to quickly eat his donut and win the contest!

We were surprised that Wyatt actually kept his hands behind his back the whole time!

The Holbrook kids taking their turn at bobbing - Nicole is cheering Tyler on!

Even Dad and Gregg had a run at donut eating...sorry Andrew for the great pic!

Tyler and I then braved the pumpkin patch with 40 kindergartners on their first ever bus trip - now that was interesting!  Here is our group - they all were so good and listened so well.  I was thankful to get such a great group - not all of the groups listened so well!!

Here is the Big Batman on Friday heading into his school parade.  He was SO Excited about dressing up and so proud of his costume that he selected himself.  I think it is so funny that kids get that super heroes are cool - Tyler doesn't even know anything about Batman - he doesn't watch Batman TV or read Batman books...but he loves Batman!

Here is our Batman, ready for the parade!  How is it that I still remember my parades and all of the fun they were.  Honestly, sometimes, I don't feel old enough to have a kindergartner who is doing all of the things I still remember!
